The Maritime Industry is seeking a seasoned Compliance Specialist to drive global compliance initiatives.

About the Role
  • This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on project delivery, offering a unique opportunity to shape compliance practices in the maritime industry.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support organizations worldwide in navigating anti-corruption regulations, including FCPA and UK Bribery Act.
  • Develop and maintain compliance tools and resources based on industry needs and regulatory trends.
  • Lead training programs on anti-corruption and sanctions compliance, featuring in-person and online modules.
  • Support due diligence initiatives and collaborate with external providers.
  • Champion ESG efforts by supporting companies in disclosing anti-corruption activities within ESG and sustainability reporting.
Project Management
  • Oversee stakeholder engagement with trade associations, training partners, and SMEs.
  • Coordinate development of customized training materials, such as case studies, checklists, and e-learning modules.
  • Manage implementation of workshops, webinars, and digital learning platforms targeting SMEs.
  • Operationalize membership models for key industries, including onboarding and ongoing SME engagement.
  • Contribute to internal learning, external communications, and reporting.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, International Trade, Public Policy, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management, compliance, ESG, or integrity risk.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sanctions and anti-corruption frameworks.
  • Proven success engaging with governments, international donors, NGOs, and business leaders.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • High proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with e-learning tools is a plus.
  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to core values.
