Breakwater Construction Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Breakwater Construction Specialist with expertise in designing, building, and managing coastal infrastructure projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to leverage your skills in hydrodynamics, coastal erosion, and sediment transport to drive the development of key coastal infrastructure in our region.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design & Construction of Breakwater Systems: Lead the design, planning, and construction of rubblemound, vertical, and hybrid breakwaters to ensure the protection of port infrastructure.
  • Project Management: Oversee port expansion projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.
  • Coastal & Marine Engineering: Apply expertise in hydrodynamics, coastal erosion, and sediment transport to optimize breakwater and shoreline protection systems.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with government bodies, environmental agencies, contractors, and consultants to ensure the smooth execution of the project and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Safety & Environmental Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to HSE guidelines and sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact during construction.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience: In breakwater construction, port development, or coastal engineering projects.
  • Expertise in designing: And implementing breakwater systems, including knowledge of materials, hydrodynamics, and coastal processes.
  • Ability to manage large teams: And collaborate across departments to meet project goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: In challenging coastal environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.E. (Civil Engineering): Or equivalent.
  • Coastal Engineering Certification: Preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience working: In the Kerala region or on Indian port development projects.
