Land Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the position of Land Acquisition Specialist.

This role requires strong expertise in private land acquisition, government land allotment, forest land acquisition, and private land acquisition via LARR.

The ideal candidate will possess a total of 7 to 12 years of experience with a minimum of 5 years in land acquisition and land management.

A background in the cement industry is preferred but not mandatory.

The selected individual will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring land acquisition across multiple sites in coordination with regional teams.
  • Providing assistance in resolving land issues at multiple sites including litigation related to title, encroachments, ceiling limit exemptions, and NA etc.
  • Preparing periodic MIS to showcase acquisition progress and issue resolution.
  • Familiarity with revenue documentation.
  • Collation and verification of title search documents along with support from the legal team.
  • Stakeholder management with land aggregators, regional land teams, business development team, legal team, project team, and finance team regarding land acquisition progress and land issues resolution.
  • Supporting the regional team in mutation, collection of original sale deeds, coordination with the finance team for fund release, CAPEX budgeting.
  • Site visits to regional land acquisition sites to monitor acquisition progress and assist in resolving land issues.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A thorough understanding of land acquisition processes and regulations.
  • Knowledge of land laws.
  • Familiarity with revenue documentation, submissions, government regulations, and compliance requirements.

In addition, you should have:

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and preparation of MIS.
  • Ability to handle and navigate multiple projects.

Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word, and knowledge of Google Earth, KMZ.

The selected candidate should have a total experience of 7 to 12 years with a minimum of 5 years' experience in land acquisition and land management.
