Accounts Payable Leadership Role

Our ideal candidate has experience in Accounts Payable Domain, with a strong understanding of large ERP systems and regulatory standards. They will lead Account Payables operations team and oversee daily activities, ensuring completion of all tasks within agreed timeframes, meeting quality and metrics targets.

Job Description:
  • Lead Account Payables operations team and oversee daily activities.
  • Accountable for Accounts Payable process, including document management, invoice processing, trade and non-trade payments, vendor maintenance, database corrections, intercompany non-trade payments, and handling exceptions.
  • Set up and supervise vendor master file, payments, T&E processing, audits, external regulatory reporting, helpdesk, statement auditing, escheatment function, VAT, and other special processes.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain client happiness and ensure successful external & internal audits.
  • Be open to working in any shift as per business requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members on organization and case resolution.
  • Provide training and support to shared service groups.
  • Manage annual performance cycle for teams, including goal setting, evaluations, and feedback processes.
  • Handle reporting requirements with attention to accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage client escalations, conduct root cause analysis, and develop control plans.
  • Prepare monthly dashboards and lead governance calls.
Requirements:
  • B.Com Graduation (MBA - Finance preferred).
  • Good understanding of large ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Relevant experience in Accounts Payable Domain.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Customer-focused with effective verbal and written communication skills.
