Job Description

The Senior Manager is responsible for leading the content marketing strategy and team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing content marketing strategies in coordination with the Off-Page team.
  • Growing and managing the database of editors, influencers.
  • Creating content development and marketing processes that engage the Content, SEO and Social Media teams.
  • Managing the blog from content development to marketing to reviewing comments.
  • Managing personas associated with the blog.
  • Managing comments/Discuss accounts associated with the blog.
  • Developing and implementing content & outreach-based strategies to grow the blog audience and engagement numbers.
Team Management:

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting team training sessions as needed.
  • Monitoring the day-to-day work of all concerned team members.
Coordination with Other Departments:

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with the SEO department on content topics and strategies.
Account Management:

Responsibilities include:

  • Communicating and meeting with clients as needed to resolve content related issues.
Online and Offline Marketing:

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying publications and content marketing avenues and opportunities.
  • Developing a network of editors at various niche-based publications.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work creatively and analytically in a high-pressure problem-solving environment.
  • Be a self-starter capable of working independently with minimal instruction.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • A great, positive, and upbeat attitude.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Communications, Marketing, or Business Administration.
  • 8+ years experience with content writing and marketing. Agency experience desired.
