Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Senior Associate - Retail Banking Ops-Cards Operations Issuing. This position requires an individual with expertise in chargeback management processes, dispute resolution efficiency, and compliance with card scheme regulations.

About the Role:

  1. Chargeback & Dispute Management: The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling daily chargeback cases efficiently, minimizing financial exposure for the bank, merchants, and cardholders. They will investigate disputes thoroughly and ensure accurate documentation to defend against unwarranted chargebacks.
  2. Dispute Loss Reduction: To reduce disputes, the selected candidate will analyze dispute data to identify high-risk merchants, transaction types, or patterns leading to chargebacks. They will collaborate with merchants to implement fraud prevention tools, transaction verification processes, and best practices to mitigate risks.
  3. Process Optimization & Risk Control: This position demands the ability to design, implement, and continuously improve operational processes for chargeback handling and dispute resolution. The successful candidate will maintain strong financial controls, ensuring compliance with internal risk policies and regulatory requirements.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: As a key member of our team, the chosen individual will partner with product, promotions, and operations teams to assess risk impact of new initiatives and campaigns. They will provide input during product design and rollout to ensure risk controls are embedded from inception.
  5. Compliance & Quality Monitoring: It is essential that the successful candidate ensures adherence to Visa, Mastercard, JCB, CUP, Diners, and other card scheme chargeback regulations.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
