Job Description

TresVista is a global enterprise that offers diversified services to help clients achieve resource optimization through an offshore capacity model. Its services include investment diligence, industry research, valuation, fund administration, accounting, and data analytics.

The Legal Department at TresVista ensures compliance with the company's contracting requirements, local regulations, and provides advisory support to stakeholders, researches applicable laws and regulations, negotiates terms of engagement with vendors, and drafts legal documents as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on commercial agreements, including third-party agreements, operations, and services agreements.
  • Provide timely support for legal inquiries related to contracts.
  • Establish and lead a contract management team to ensure post-contractual obligations are met.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to implement the legal strategy.
  • Provide legal advice to senior management, board members, and executives on various matters.
  • Review and drive policies in compliance with legal regulations.
  • Manage intellectual property and real estate support.
  • Improve service quality by establishing new processes, steps, checks, and balances.
  • Support employment matters.
  • Advise on forming and structuring new entities, including selecting entity types and jurisdictions.
  • Oversee board meetings, maintain corporate records, and file necessary reports to ensure compliance.
  • Identify and consult on legal risks related to external partnerships, regulatory, cybersecurity, intellectual property requirements, and other matters.
  • Serve as lead counsel on strategic deals, resolve issues, and handle pre-litigation disputes.
  • Drive improvements in productivity and efficiency using defined KPIs.
  • Devising new strategies for hiring and training the Legal team.
  • Guiding, mentoring, and training Analysts and Associates in their roles.
Requirements:
  • Understanding of diverse laws applicable to financial services firms and other laws.
  • Knowledge of corporate legal compliance, policies, and framework.
  • Ability to anticipate and identify legal issues and develop effective strategies and solutions.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with attention to detail.
  • Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills.
  • Collaborative with a team orientation.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity.
Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in an in-house legal team of a corporate company.
Education:
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Law.
