Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Railway Track Design Engineer to join our team as a key member of our infrastructure design group. This role involves designing and developing railway tracks, including ballasted and non-ballasted structures, track alignment, profile, and grading.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop railway tracks, including horizontal and vertical alignment, turnout design, clearance assessments, and maintenance principles.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure all work is completed to a high standard and with a consistent approach.
  • Calculate quantities, prepare cost estimates, project specifications, and construction bid/tender documents.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Working knowledge of Microstation/AutoCAD/Open Rail Designer.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Experience in rail infrastructure/engineering environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional accreditations.

Software Competencies:

  • Microstation/AutoCAD/Open Rail Designer.
  • MS Office.
  • ProjectWise or Similar software for handling designs.
