Business Growth Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Business Growth Specialist to lead our tender process from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in tender bidding for securing service contracts business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for actively monitoring tender opportunities, advising on participation decisions, ensuring deadlines and progress are met, writing compelling tender texts, building a text library, and submitting all required documents accurately and on time.

Main Responsibilities

  • Tender preparation and submission (private, government, and corporations)
  • Reviewing tender documents and supervising the compilation of materials required for bids
  • Preparing pre-qualification bids with standard company information
  • Monitoring bid management to ensure alignment with organization requirements
  • Detailed reading and understanding of tenders and related documents
  • Ability to understand financial statements
  • Financial reporting and analysis, including reviewing tender-wise profitability and cost reports
  • Ensuring adherence to internal financial controls related to tender business
  • Maintaining accurate documentation for tax compliance, invoicing, and audit purposes
  • Vendor registration/compliance for third-party vendors

Eligibility Criteria

3-4 years' experience preferred in tender processing (government, semi-government, corporations, private)

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience in tender business
  • Experience in using portals such as GeM and mahatender
  • Well-versed with financial tools and technology
  • Proficient in MS-Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Fluency in English communication
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
