Quality System Specialist Job Description

The primary role of the Quality System Specialist is to provide daily system support and troubleshoot issues with users.

This specialist will perform various system administration duties, configure workflow tools, and create test cases to ensure seamless system performance.

  • Supports users via telephone, email, and instant messaging for daily system issues.
  • Troubleshoots system problems with users and collaborates with software vendors when necessary.
  • Updates website information content, system data changes, and performs other system administration tasks.
  • Assists with configuration changes to the EtQ Reliance workflow tool.
  • Develops and executes test cases to verify configurations work as expected.
  • Collaborates on software validation and change control activities.
  • Creates reports using Excel, Tableau, and other tools.
  • Develops training materials for system optimization.
Required Skills

  • Strong teamwork ethos and willingness to assist colleagues.
  • Experience in system troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Proficiency in Windows and MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, JavaScript, VBScript) for automation.
  • SharePoint experience for collaborative workspace management.
