Job Opportunity: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our Observability team.

This pivotal role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure as well as managing self-hosted and on-premises assets. As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems are scalable, secure, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.
  • Develop and monitor automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and on-premises resources.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard cloud environments.
  • Administer company platforms to enhance user productivity.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and support application deployments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

Tools and Technologies:

  • Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies, including TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, and routing.
