Storage Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled specialist to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will have expertise in distributed storage systems, including Ceph, ZFS, and NFS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Distributed Storage Design and Implementation: Collaborate with development and SRE teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient distributed storage systems for hybrid and cloud-native environments.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot issues related to storage, networking, and container orchestration systems, ensuring seamless CI/CD and infrastructure reliability.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like Prometheus, ensuring real-time visibility into system performance and efficiency.
  • Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with teams to document architectural decisions and standard operating procedures, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
  • Proficient in Ceph (RADOS, RBD, CephFS) and ZFS administration.
  • Solid experience managing NFS servers and performance tuning.
  • PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE OF KUBERNETES INTERNALS, NETWORKING, AND CLUSTER LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT.
  • Experience with container runtimes (Docker, containerd), Helm, etc.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience using the Rook-Ceph operator for Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of CSI storage drivers and volume provisioning in Kubernetes.
  • Certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or RHCSA are a plus.
