Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Job Description

Overview of the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in designing and implementing scalable cloud infrastructure, developing backend services in Go (Golang), and working on real-time data-intensive applications across cloud and hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Scalable Infrastructure: Develop secure, high-availability infrastructure across public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and hybrid/on-prem environments.
  • Define Architecture Blueprints: Create architecture blueprints, deployment models, and system interaction patterns for cloud-based systems.
  • Build Production-Grade Backend Services: Design and implement production-grade backend services in Go, supporting application logic, data processing, service APIs, and integration workflows.
  • Deliver End-to-End Solutions: Take ownership of end-to-end implementation from prototyping to production deployment, including packaging for customer-controlled environments (cloud or on-prem).
  • Integrate AI/ML Pipelines: Integrate and support AI/ML pipelines, streaming systems (Kafka, Kinesis), and data stores (SQL, NoSQL, vector, graph).
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years in cloud infrastructure and backend engineering roles in product-driven environments.
  • Technical Skills: Strong Kubernetes expertise, proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC/config management tools, experience with Go (Golang), scripting (Python, Bash), and databases (SQL, NoSQL, vector, graph).
