Job Title

Solar Project Director

As a Solar Project Director, you will oversee MW-scale solar power projects from initiation to commissioning. This role requires experience in managing cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors to deliver projects successfully and strengthen our renewable energy portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
      Define and execute detailed project execution plans aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee end-to-end execution of solar projects from initiation to commissioning.
      Ensure strict adherence to scope, cost, and timelines.
  • Monitor daily site progress, coordinate with site engineers and contractors.
      Implement corrective actions in case of deviations or delays.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Energy or equivalent.
      (Master's preferred).
  • 12+ years of experience in managing large-scale Solar EPC / Utility / C&I projects.
      Proven track record of handling MW-scale solar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, project execution methodologies, and renewable energy regulations.
      Experience in contract management, procurement, and vendor management.

Project Closure & Handover

  • Supervise testing, commissioning, and performance trials.
      Prepare detailed project closure reports and lessons-learned documentation.

Responsibilities & Expectations

  • Set clear goals and expectations for your team members.
      Regularly review their performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
      Act as the key point of contact for all project-related communication.
