At least 1 year of experience in project engineering, specifically within solar PV ground-mount projectsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related fieldThe Project Engineer for Solar Ground Mount projects will play a critical role in the successful planning, execution, and closure of utility-scale and commercial ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) installations. This position is responsible for providing technical expertise, coordinating various project elements, ensuring adherence to design specifications, budget, and schedule, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Design & Review:
  • Review and understand detailed engineering designs, single-line diagrams, site layouts, and civil/structural drawings for ground-mount solar projects
  • Identify potential design conflicts or constructability issues and propose effective solutions
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize designs for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and ease of installation
  • Project Planning & Coordination:
  • Assist the Project Manager in developing comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate with internal teams (procurement, engineering, construction, quality, safety) and external stakeholders (clients, subcontractors, vendors, authorities)
  • Site Management & Supervision:
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality of work, and adherence to safety protocols
  • Oversee the installation of solar modules, racking systems, inverters, transformers, cabling, and other balance of system (BOS) components
  • Ensure civil works (grading, foundations, trenching) meet design specifications
  • Address on-site technical challenges and implement corrective actions promptly
  • Manage and supervise subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with project requirements and quality standards
  • Procurement & Logistics Support:
  • Assist the procurement team in technical evaluation of vendor proposals and material specifications
  • Monitor material deliveries to site, ensuring timely arrival and proper storage.
  • Conduct quality checks on incoming materials
  • Quality Assurance & Control:
  • Implement and enforce quality control procedures throughout the project lifecycle
  • Conduct inspections and tests (e.g., insulation resistance tests, IV curve tests) to ensure system performance and reliability
  • Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on site
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with company HSE policies and local regulations
  • Participate in site safety audits and incident investigations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300, ₹600,000.00 per year
