Job Overview

This senior leadership role is responsible for driving the end-to-end issuance and fulfillment of new business. The incumbent will manage workflow, central initiatives, and distribution/policy issuance/underwriting to ensure business continuity.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Relationship Management:
    • Foster strong relationships with distribution heads through regular engagement and performance monitoring.
  2. Managing New Business:
    • Oversee daily traction on WIP to meet monthly targets.
    • Drive WIP clearance through hub teams for daily issuance.
    • Conduct regular governance calls with HUBs teams.
    • Manage end-to-end WIP processes.
    • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement process excellence initiatives for ease of business.
  3. Data and Reporting:
    • Deliver reports and analysis on business parameters to inform improvement plans.
    • Enable distribution teams with data sets, reports, and dashboards.
    • Collaborate with internal departments on reports automation.
    • Present findings to senior management as needed.
  4. Process Control and Compliance:
    • E nsure maintenance and updating of SOPs and 4 sheeter's.
    • Document and control changes in existing processes.
    • Process service requests according to defined SLAs.
  5. Projects and Continuous Improvement:
    • Benchmark internally and externally to establish best practices.
    • Roll out new guidelines for distribution adherence.
  6. Talent Management:
    • Develop team members for effective performance.
  7. Key Performance Indicators:
    • Monthly governance engagements with Distribution leaders.
    • Publication of Monthly Issuance Dashboard /Scorecard.
    • Driving Operational efficiencies with Distribution team.
    • 92% M0 Issuance.
    • 94% M2 Issuance.
    • FTR of 85%.
    • Customer satisfaction through resolution of escalations and requests.
    • # of projects completed - Complete 1 Green/Black belt project for the year.
    • Talent retention, >10% attrition for G2M2abv.
    • Accurate reconciliation of business data / reports.
    • User friendly customization of analytical report.
    • Number of Initiatives deployed to bring in process improvements.
    • Effective alignment across departments with minimal escalations.
About You

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a graduate/postgraduate degree in Management and a minimum of 10+ years of experience, with 5 years in relationship management and Banca operations management. Your expertise should include Bancassurance or Banking Operations Model & specifically operations processes. You should possess good communication, analytical skills, and strong data skills with a solution-centric approach. A customer-centric approach, process documentation, systems approach, computer skills in using databases and office management software, including spreadsheets/presentation skills, and team management/strong relationship skills are also required.
