Cloud Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead cloud reliability initiatives, focusing on design, build, and validation of resilient cloud-native environments. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in cloud engineering, DevOps, and chaos experimentation to improve system resilience, fault tolerance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Engineering:
    • Architect, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
    • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform / CloudFormation and AWS SDKs.
  • Python Development:
    • Build automation scripts, deployment utilities, and infrastructure tooling using Python (Boto3, Flask, FastAPI).
    • Develop custom monitoring/alerting integrations with APIs, SDKs, and third-party observability platforms.
  • Chaos Engineering & Resiliency:
    • Design and execute chaos experiments to validate system resilience, using tools like Gremlin, Litmus, or Chaos Mesh.
    • Partner with SRE and development teams to define SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
  • DevOps & Observability:
    • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
    • Integrate observability frameworks for monitoring and tracing, including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, or CloudWatch.
  • Security & Compliance:
    • Apply AWS security best practices for IAM, networking, and data protection.
    • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory frameworks.
    Requirements:
    • 6–10 years of experience in Cloud, DevOps, or SRE roles.
    • Strong hands-on expertise in AWS Cloud, with certifications in DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect preferred.
    • Advanced Python development skills for automation and tooling, with Boto3 being a must.
    • Experience designing and running chaos experiments using Gremlin, AWS FIS, or Litmus.
    • Solid knowledge of IaC using Terraform / CloudFormation.
    • Proficiency in containers & orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, or EKS.
    • Strong background in monitoring, observability, and incident management.
