- Manage day-to-day transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, cash receipts, and general ledger entries.
- Ensure accuracy in daily financial postings, reconciliations, and closing activities.
- Oversee cash flow to meet all financial commitments.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial statements to align with internal accounts.
- Prepare, review, and present daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to highlight financial performance and trends.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes for timely reporting.
- Monitor and track budget allocations, spending patterns, and variances against forecasts.
- Conduct variance analysis and communicate findings to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights on budget adherence.
- Adhere to local and statutory accounting principles and guidelines.
- Assist with audits and respond to auditors on transactional and general ledger inquiries.
- Maintain and update financial records for compliance with financial regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA/CPA Inter/Final qualification preferred.
- Proven work experience (4+ years) in an accounting or finance role, ideally managing day-to-day operations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, compliance standards, and accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various departments.
