Job Overview

Role: Deputy Manager/Manager for Electric Vehicle Planning in Automotive Industry.


As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:

• EV Planning in Automotive Industry: Developing and executing plans to drive business growth and market expansion in the electric vehicle (EV) sector.

• Preparation of New Product Proposals: Identifying new opportunities in the EV domain, preparing proposals, and presenting them to senior management.

• Market Sales Trend and Technology Trend Study: Conducting studies on current and future market trends related to electric vehicles, including India and global markets.

• Collaboration with Overseas Product Teams: Working closely with overseas product teams to conceptualize and finalize new proposals and features/specifications for EV models.

• Scenario Planning and Business Case Preparation: Preparing business cases and scenarios for new products in the electric vehicle domain.

• Tracking Government Policies and Reporting: Monitoring government policies related to EVs and reporting to senior management.

• Management Information Reporting: Analyzing and reporting on newly launched and refreshed products.

• Tracking Current and Future Competition Products: Monitoring current and future competition products and market intelligence activities in the EV domain.


Competency Requirements:

• Good Presentation Skills and In-Depth Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

• Good Knowledge of Vehicle and Automotive Industry, including SIAM Classification, Tax Structure, and Regulatory Environment.

• Understanding of Indian Consumers.

• Knowledge of EV-Related Business.
