Electric Vehicle Field Issues Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Category Lead to spearhead our efforts in Electric Vehicle (EV) field issues. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management of market issues, ensuring timely resolution of design problems, and implementing effective countermeasures to prevent future occurrences.
About This Role
- Manage Market Issues: Oversee the identification, analysis, and resolution of market issues affecting EVs.
- Improve Response Time: Develop strategies to enhance our response time to market issues, reducing downtime and improving overall customer satisfaction.
- Warranty Management: Analyze warranty claims, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize future occurrences.
Key Responsibilities
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough investigations to determine the root cause of market issues, ensuring that corrective actions are effective and sustainable.
- Countermeasure Implementation: Design and implement effective countermeasures to prevent future occurrences, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Quality Enhancement: Drive quality enhancements through Continuous Improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Requirements
- Graduation in Engineering (Electrical or Instrumentation): Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 Years of Experience: Proven experience in part development, preferably in the automobile industry, with a strong focus on EV parts testing and failure diagnosis.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in software analytics, problem-solving, and defect analysis, with hands-on experience in using tools like Canalyzer, OBD Tool, PCAN, and VCI Tool.
