Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Vice President to join our Investment Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Investment and Divestment activities, including scheduling IC committee meetings, preparing minutes and resolutions, and ensuring the integrity and completeness of financial records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Investment and Divestment activities, including scheduling IC committee meetings and preparing minutes and resolutions.
  • Ensure the integrity and completeness of financial records, including banking, reconciliations, and expense payments.
  • Assist in statutory and other regulatory audit processes and ensure seamless closure within timelines.
  • Ensure timeliness of various tax filings and investor reporting within agreed timeframes.
  • Calculate, review, and manage investor distributions as per Fund documents.
  • Assist in the valuation exercise of the Fund portfolio companies.
  • Assist deal & AM teams in activities required for asset management of portfolio investment.
  • Assist in setting up new AIF / schemes for the FME entity.
  • Investor Activities including onboarding, KYC, drawdowns.
  • Assist in any strategic matters across entities.
  • Keep abreast with changing regulations and analyze its impact on existing operations.
  • Assist Compliance / legal team in Fund documentation.
  • Maintain internal trackers and checklists to ensure all areas of AIF are effectively monitored.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum Qualifications Chartered Accountant with relevant experience of 9 - 13 years.
  • Relevant experience of working with in-house accounts / operations division of AIF / fund administrators / Global Funds.
  • Knowledge of relevant GIFT City, AIF and FPI regulations, General Accounting practices and Indian Tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS word and Power point.
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks assigned.
  • Willingness to work in a cross-functional set-up and adapt to evolving work environment.
