Project Management Specialist - Solar Water Pump Installations

The position of Project Management Specialist is critical in the successful execution of Solar Water Pump installations across multiple states.

This leadership role involves driving timely commissioning, quality compliance, partner coordination, and on-time claim submissions in line with government guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner Management: Building a strong network of partners with clear agreements, performance monitoring, and training is crucial for project success.
  • Project Flow & Execution: Seamless workflows within strict timelines are essential to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Overseeing portal uploads, inspections, and penalty waiver processes while ensuring 100% documentation compliance is vital for project delivery.
  • Quality & Training: Driving training programs for partners and internal teams on installation quality, RMS integration, and farmer education (O&M, insurance, claims) will improve overall project quality.
  • Team Leadership: Leading a state-spanning project team with structured daily/weekly/monthly reviews, adherence to SOPs, and strong accountability frameworks is necessary for effective project management.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaising with government officials, farmers, internal customers to resolve delays, escalate issues, and ensure approvals will help maintain positive relationships and avoid potential conflicts.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identifying bottlenecks, refining SOPs, and implementing corrective/preventive measures will ensure smooth project delivery.

Education & Experience
  • Education: B.E./B.Tech (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Power) + MBA (Operations preferred)
  • Experience: 15+ years in large-scale project management, with 5+ years in multi-state EPC/renewable installations under government schemes.
  • Preferred Sectors: Renewable Energy, Solar EPC, Infrastructure Projects, Government-Scheme Execution
Other Requirements
  • 10–12 days per month across project states for monitoring installations, government liaison, and partner/team performance.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
