Job Description

This role involves end-to-end contract management, vetting, negotiating, and executing agreements, including strategic agreements. It requires maintenance and regular review of all executed agreements with renewal follow-ups with business teams. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and lead a compliance framework for the organisation. They will also keep track of regulatory developments impacting the organisation and ensure that all requirements are duly implemented in the organisation.

Responsibilities
  1. End-to-end contract management, vetting, negotiating, and execution of agreements, including strategic agreements.
  2. Maintenance and regular review of all executed agreements with renewal follow-ups with business teams.
  3. Design, implement, and lead a compliance framework for the organisation.
  4. Keep track of regulatory developments impacting the organisation and ensure that all requirements are duly implemented in the organisation.
  5. Ensure senior management remains informed of regulatory, legislative, and best-practice changes and their obligations under these changes and how they impact the group.
  6. Provide regular reports to management and other relevant bodies detailing any current issues or information as required.

The ideal candidate should have outstanding communication skills, be self-starting with an ability to meet deadlines in a competitive environment. They should also have experience working in the legal compliance department of regulated entities and hold LL.B mandatory/CS added advantage.

Experience

4-6 years of experience working in the legal compliance department of regulated entities. Ability to meet deadlines in a competitive environment.
