Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team.
- Perform customer due diligence checks to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company policies.
- Verify customer information, including documents such as identification proof, address verification, and financial records.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments on new clients, partners, and vendors.
- Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for new customers, ensuring all required documentation is collected and accurate.
- Collaborate with the legal and compliance teams to stay updated on any changes in regulations or policies affecting customer onboarding.
- Review and update customer records in the company database, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Respond to customer inquiries related to compliance and onboarding, providing exceptional customer service.
- Assist with periodic compliance reviews and ensure that existing customer records are updated as necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in compliance and customer onboarding or a related field.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, anti-money laundering (AML) laws, and financial regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Proficient in using compliance tools, databases, and software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
