We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a Compliance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our network partners and merchants adhere to American Express policies.

Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Contacting clients with overdue accounts to secure the settlement of the account;">
  • Conducting preventive work to avoid future overdues with accounts that have a high exposure;">
  • Managing operational activities in support of policy compliance programs, including Exception Governance, Industry Mandates, Policy Risk Assessment, Payment Card Industry, etc., and Network Participant performance monitoring, program management, and non-compliance follow-up;">
  • Understanding Network Participant and Merchant relationships and collaborating with Partner Managers, Client Managers, Regulatory Compliance, GMS, GCO, Policy Development teams, and other stakeholders to drive Network and Merchant policy compliance;">
  • Analyzing data on Network Participant and Merchant performance and identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities areas;">
  • Leading cross-functional compliance projects to enhance programs and improve policy compliance;">
  • Supporting GMNS Merchant Operations leadership in evolving policy compliance programs; and">
  • Producing regular reporting metrics on policy compliance programs and developing new reporting.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A strong understanding of MS-Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word;">
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;">
  • The ability to act as a back-up, as and when required, to perform Manager Role and Responsibilities and offshore business collaboration;">
  • A self-starter mindset with demonstrated ability in taking the initiative to address issues;">
  • A strong eye for detail and organizational skills;">
  • A team player with strong ability to build and leverage relationships;">
  • Strong customer focus and demonstrated problem-solving and process improvement skills;">
  • Knowledge of the credit card industry is preferred.">
