Job Title: IT Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Compliance Specialist to join our organization.

About the Role:
  • As an IT Compliance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring our organization's IT assets are managed effectively and efficiently.
  • You will establish benchmarks for managing IT assets by researching industry best practices and comparing them against company practices.
  • You will define metrics, gather data, and report on the effectiveness of IT asset management processes.
  • You will administer the Asset e-Cycle Program to ensure responsible disposal of IT assets.
  • You will manage the Software Asset Management process to meet business and end-user requirements.
  • You will develop reports that provide insights into software license entitlements, installations, usage, renewal, procurement status, and data gaps.
  • You will ensure timely renewal of software licenses, maintenance, and support contracts.
  • You will develop and oversee control systems to prevent or address violations of legal guidelines and internal policies.
  • You will collaborate with local IT service providers to execute infrastructure maintenance and deployment processes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Establish benchmarking framework for IT asset management based on industry best practices.
  2. Develop and implement metrics to measure IT asset management performance.
  3. Administer Asset e-Cycle Program for responsible disposal of IT assets.
  4. Manage Software Asset Management process to meet business needs.
  5. Generate reports on software license entitlements, installations, usage, renewal, procurement status, and data gaps.
  6. Ensure timely renewal of software licenses, maintenance, and support contracts.
  7. Develop and enforce control systems to prevent policy violations.
  8. Collaborate with local IT service providers for infrastructure maintenance and deployment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT compliance or related field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with IT asset management tools and technologies.
