Job Title:

Real Estate Financial Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Real Estate Financial Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Developing financial models for REITs and real estate companies, including operating and non-operating cash flow modelling, levered and debt cash flow, JV & waterfall, and building and auditing financial models for various asset classes.
  2. Creating Argus valuation models, lease abstracting, lease review, and audit, as well as performing cash flow and rent roll analysis.
  3. Valuing commercial real estate properties using different approaches, such as income capitalization, sales comparison, and cost approach.
  4. Modeling REIT income statements and balance sheets, understanding revolver, interest expense & circularity, modeling future development, FFO & CAD, and building and auditing REIT valuation and NAV models.
  5. Preparing pitch books, information memorandums, industry studies, company profiles, and discussion documents related to various industries.
  6. Conducting M&A deal runs and target screenings using databases like Greenstreet, RCA, Argus, Costar, Capital IQ, PitchBook, Mergermarket, and FactSet.

Maintaining high-quality deliverables and ensuring client satisfaction by meeting project timelines.

Analyzing reports, conducting quality control checks, structuring deliverables, developing new capabilities, and researching new products.

Demonstrating strength in client relationship building and management, information needs assessment, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with financial modeling, data analysis, and market research.
  • Familiarity with REITs and real estate markets.
  • Proficiency in tools like Argus, Excel, and database management systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
