Job Overview

As a Network Engineer, you will analyze, architect, design, configure, install, and manage enterprise networks and network equipment.

  • Maintain knowledge of network vendor technologies and associated software.
  • Administer Cisco network equipment including routers, switches, access points, and controllers.
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network equipment.
  • Resolve complex issues involving multiple technologies.
  • Assist teams with installing and configuring Cisco Voice Gateways, Integrated Services Routers (ISRs), Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE) routers, analog gateways, and other infrastructure equipment.
  • Work with carriers to configure and troubleshoot Internet, MPLS, SD-WAN, and other WAN circuits and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum process for the IT systems team.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field of study.
  • At least eight years of experience with Cisco routers/switches/routing protocols and other network equipment.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional certification.
