Network Documentation Specialist Wanted
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to create and implement a structured documentation framework within Confluence for our network across multiple sites.
The primary focus is to establish templates and organization for as-built diagrams, contact information, runbooks, and design guidelines. The resulting setup should be intuitive, easy to navigate, and seamlessly integrate into our standard build process.
This role involves working closely with the network team to gather existing data, convert designs into standardized templates, and train the team on maintaining and expanding the documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a centralized documentation system for site-specific details and current network states.
- Develop standardized templates for documentation, runbooks, and design guidelines to ensure consistency and ease of access.
- Collaborate with the network team to gather data and understand site-specific requirements.
- Pilot the documentation process on a subset of sites and serve as an example for others to follow.
- Train team members on new documentation structure and maintain its integrity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong experience in network documentation and designing structured frameworks.
- Familiarity with Confluence as a documentation platform and Lucid chart or similar diagramming tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with technical teams.
- Able to create clear and consistent documentation that is easy to maintain and update.
