Enterprise Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Lead to spearhead our enterprise security content development strategy and lead a team of compliance developers. This senior role combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership, driving the research, development, and delivery of high-quality compliance benchmarks and automation solutions across multiple regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of 3-5 compliance content developers to drive successful project outcomes.
• Develop comprehensive compliance strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market demands, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams to drive adoption and implementation of compliance solutions.
• Establish quality standards and best practices for compliance content development, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Research and architect advanced compliance frameworks for emerging standards, including NIST 2.0, HIPAA, CIS, STIG, and PCI-DSS.
• Design and oversee development of complex remediation automation scripts and SCAP content, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness.
• Lead technical reviews and ensure deliverable quality across all compliance benchmarks, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
• Drive automation initiatives using Python, PowerShell, and infrastructure-as-code tools, improving efficiency and reducing manual errors.
• Champion the adoption of DevSecOps practices in compliance content development, promoting collaboration and innovation throughout the organization.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop technical teams, with a strong track record of delivering results-oriented projects.
• Strong project management skills with experience in Agile methodologies, ensuring timely delivery and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
• Executive communication skills for stakeholder management, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, driving business growth and revenue expansion.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with compliance framework development, with a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Expert-level scripting in Python, PowerShell, Bash, and automation tools, with the ability to design and implement complex automation solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows, Linux/Unix, macOS, and cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, network security, and enterprise architecture, with the ability to design and implement secure and scalable solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation tools, improving efficiency and reducing manual errors.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to executive and technical audiences.
• Cross-functional collaboration with the ability to influence without direct authority, driving business outcomes through effective stakeholder engagement.
• Customer-facing experience with enterprise clients, with a proven track record of delivering value-added solutions and exceptional customer service.

Experience Required:

5+ years of progressive experience in Compliance Content Development within Cybersecurity, Enterprise Security, or SaaS environments.

2+ years in a leadership or senior technical role with team management responsibilities, driving business growth and revenue expansion.

Proven track record of delivering compliance solutions for enterprise customers, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related technical field, with a strong foundation in computer systems, networks, and cybersecurity principles.
