Email Security Implementation Expert

Our leading client is hiring an experienced Email Security Implementation Engineer to join their dedicated Proofpoint practice.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled engineer with hands-on experience in email security or cybersecurity solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of email protocols, networking concepts, and email routing, filtering, and encryption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the deployment and configuration of Proofpoint solutions.
  • Work closely with clients to understand security needs and design appropriate configurations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email flow, phishing, malware, encryption, and policy enforcement.
  • Work with internal teams and Proofpoint support to escalate and resolve complex problems.
  • Maintain documentation and support handover materials for clients.
  • Participate in training programs and certifications to gain Proofpoint expertise.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with email security or cybersecurity solutions.
  • Understanding of email protocols: SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with email routing, filtering, and encryption.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace environments.
