Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to work directly with customers through targeted micro-consulting engagements to solve business needs using the Workday application. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to act as a trusted Workday advisor, guiding customers through how-to questions, troubleshooting, and configuration support, while also providing feature demonstrations.

The successful candidate will conduct research to understand customer questions and relevant Workday concepts, deliver small-scale consulting engagements, provide guidance on configuration, demonstrate features, and share best practices. They will troubleshoot and provide solutions for optimal product configuration to meet customer business requirements, communicate effectively with customers, clearly articulating the value and impact of Workday solutions, and create and deliver presentations to help customers understand how to use Workday features to meet their business goals.

About the Role:

  • Conduct research to understand customer questions and relevant Workday concepts.
  • Deliver small-scale consulting engagements, providing guidance on configuration, demonstrating features, and sharing best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and provide solutions for optimal product configuration to meet customer business requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, clearly articulating the value and impact of Workday solutions.
  • Create and deliver presentations to help customers understand how to use Workday features to meet their business goals.
  • Provide one-on-one consulting to accelerate customer adoption of Workday features.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of Workday HCM consulting experience on medium to large enterprise HRIS projects or applicable practitioner deployment experience.
  • 8+ years of IT implementation experience.

You should also possess:

  • Solid understanding of HR-related systems and processes.
  • Ability to gain expertise in new Workday features, especially in Core HCM and cross-application features.
  • Certified or ability to certify in Workday HCM Products and deploy solutions effectively.
  • Experience working with senior leaders and collaborating on design meetings to achieve collaborative outcomes.
  • Proven ability to deliver results within project plans.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and English.
  • Experience with global implementations preferred.
  • Ability to work on multiple engagements simultaneously.
