Key Responsibilities

The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for managing the corporate finance portfolio in assigned areas. Key responsibilities include underwriting cases, presenting to senior levels, authorizing deviations raised by underwriters, and finalizing review of credit memos.

The role also involves supporting business teams to manage end-to-end credit approval for designated regions, overseeing PDD management, and ensuring timely completion of personal discussion documents through customer visits in high-value cases.

In addition, the Portfolio Manager will oversee follow-ups with external vendors to ensure timely query resolution and eliminate undue delays. The role also includes coordinating with recoveries teams and generating business insights.

Leading a team of credit approvers is also a key responsibility, ensuring portfolio quality and delinquencies are maintained. The role requires development, implementation, review, and monitoring of various credit programs to continuously upgrade competency and improve processing efficiency.

Finally, the Portfolio Manager will ensure due diligence in credit analysis, customer application screening, evaluation, underwriting, and sanctioning of loans.
