Job Title: Corporate Finance Manager

About the Role

This role involves managing a portfolio of corporate finance business in an assigned area, including underwriting and approving credit applications. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and experience in credit risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To underwrite and manage the portfolio of corporate finance business in assigned areas.
  • To support and partner with business teams to ensure end-to-end credit approval for designated regions.
  • To underwrite cases and present to senior level.
  • To authorize deviations raised by underwriters in compliance with credit policy.
  • To review and approve/decline credit memos prepared by underwriters after checking documentation requests.
  • To approve disbursement requests based on achieved adherence to requirements on agreement value and full documentation attainment at the branch level.
  • To monitor and oversee PDD management and ensure timely completion of personal discussion documents through customer visits in high-value cases.
  • To initiate follow-ups with external vendors (FI, Legal & Technical valuations) to ensure timely query resolution/report submission and eliminate undue/non-process-related delays.
  • To coordinate with recoveries team and generate business insights.
  • To lead a team of credit approvers to ensure portfolio quality and delinquencies.
  • To engage in development, implementation, review, and monitoring of various credit programs and providing training and coaching to continuously upgrade the competency of the team and improve processing efficiency of the HUB.
  • To ensure due diligence in credit analysis, customer application screening, evaluation, underwriting, and sanctioning of loan.
Requirements
  • MBA/PGDBA/PGPM/CA or Equivalent.
