Dealership and Workshop Manager

This role involves overseeing the daily operations of a dealership and workshop, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently. Key responsibilities include managing dealership profitability, executing expansion activities, identifying service gaps, promoting sales of genuine spare parts, and handholding dealers to achieve customer retention targets.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • a) Dealership Profitability
  • Plan and monitor the achievement of service targets in the area, execute primary and secondary service network expansion activities, identify service gaps and recommend new dealer workshops/branches, promote the sales of Bajaj Genuine Spares and Oil, promote referral sales by providing service support, and handhold dealers for customer retention targets and overall dealership profitability.
  • b) Capability Building
  • Provide guidance to dealers in monitoring and handling the dealer network, identify training requirements, organize training for dealership manpower, gather and disseminate market intelligence, coordinate with dealers in manpower recruitment, and execute projects as determined by RSM/H.O.
  • c) Systems Processes
  • Ensure adherence to company service standards by all dealer workshops branches across the region, implement Total Productivity Management, audit Service Quality Systems, conduct Dealer Service Standard (DSS) audits, reduce service turn-around time and repeat jobs, minimize cost/time deviations, and take decisions on warranty claims.
  • d) Customer Relationship Management
  • Enhance customer satisfaction levels in all dealer workshops, guide dealers in resolving critical customer issues, prevent such issues, and coordinate with the service support team for speedy resolution of customer complaints.
  • e) Product Support
  • Get feedback on product performance/product failures, perform root cause analysis, update manufacturing and RD teams through RSM, plan and execute new product launches, and conduct pre-launch field trials.
