Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle system knowledge, including sub-systems and components. They will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicles, making them roadworthy, and independently handling diagnostic testers.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of OE system descriptions, service & repair manuals, and will be able to handle diagnostic testers such as VIDA, Xentry, GDS, ADT, SDT-II, DiagBox, HDS, Launch, Autel, G-Scan, Zenith etc.

They will also have experience with analyzer & simulation tools from Vector or Samtec, e.g., HSX, HS+ etc., and experience with Diag Help Tool. Good knowledge of wiring diagrams and conventions is required, as well as sound knowledge on CAN, CAN FD, DoIP, UDS, J1939.

Benchmarking and reverse engineering of aftersales & aftermarket diagnostic testers is also an essential part of this role. The candidate will be expected to work closely with the software engineering team and technical experts from global teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong vehicle system knowledge, including sub-systems and components, is essential for this role. A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in aftersales vehicle service, diagnostics, and troubleshooting, preferably in OEM dealerships/workshops, is required.

A degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering (BE/ B. Tech/ ME/ M. Tech) is also necessary. Additional qualifications may be beneficial.

Skills Priorities:

SKILL-1: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in aftersales vehicle service, diagnostics, and troubleshooting, preferably in OEM dealerships/workshops.

SKILL-2: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in automotive diagnostic content development.
