We are looking for a high-voltage design expert to lead the development of mixed-signal systems, FPGA boards, and timing control units.

Why This Role Matters

This position is critical in delivering a commercial Scanning Electron Microscope. Our goal is to create an instrument that not only sees the nanoscale but also patterns and measures it with precision.

Your Mission

Design the electronics that make the instrument feel instant and synchronized: a common timing spine, responsive beam control, low-noise power, and lossless data capture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop the timing and synchronization backbone so optics, detectors, motion, and software operate in lockstep.
  • Build mixed-signal boards: beam control drivers, detector front-ends, data-acquisition, and robust control I/O.
  • Ensure clean, stable power and grounding/shielding for quiet images and strong electromagnetic compatibility behavior.
  • Provide diagnostics, fixtures, and logs so issues are obvious and field-debuggable.

Should have a track record shipping mixed-signal/FPGA systems in instruments, vision, or semiconductor/robotics gear. You should be strong on bench skills with scopes, analyzers, and bring-up; pragmatic about testability and manufacturability. Collaborative and documentation-minded, you think in interfaces and failure modes.
