Accounts Receivable Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Specialist. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience working with US GAAP standards.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating and sending invoices to customers, monitoring accounts for timely collection of outstanding balances, and reconciling discrepancies and resolving billing issues.

  • Invoicing and Accounting: Generate and send invoices to customers in accordance with U.S. GAAP standards, monitor accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances, and reconcile discrepancies, resolve billing issues, communicate effectively with customers regarding payments.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all A/R transactions, including analytical skills, the ability to gather and organize information, and proficiency in invoicing and accounting software.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, review and verify invoices and expense reports for accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP, prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring adherence to payment terms and schedules.
  • Vendor Management: Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain vendor relationships, with attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate Requirements:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working in a US night shift. The ideal candidate will have strong active listening and verbal communication skills in English, be able to work independently, and stay updated on U.S. GAAP regulations to ensure compliance in all accounting activities.
