Transaction Monitoring Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Transaction Monitoring Specialist to join our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing transaction monitoring tools to mitigate financial crime risk.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Post Graduate degree in Management/Statistics/Mathematics or a Graduate degree in Engineering from a reputed institution.
  • 15+ years of hands-on experience in transaction monitoring with at least 5 years focused on financial crime threat mitigation tools and platforms.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a focus on technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies, technical roadmaps, and DevOps practices.

The successful candidate will have experience as a Product Owner and strong project management skills. They will also possess certifications such as ACAMS - Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists or equivalent.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing transaction monitoring tools to mitigate financial crime risk.
  • Developing and maintaining technical roadmaps.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
  • Providing thought leadership on technical solutions.

Required skills and technologies include:

  • Data Science.
  • Compliance Advisory.
  • Manage Risk.
  • Surveillance (Specifically Monitoring).
  • Statistical Modelling/Machine Learning/Data Analysis.
  • SQL/HQL/Hive/Hadoop scripting and databases such as Oracle and HaaS.
  • R/Python/SAS/STATA/C++/SCALA Programming.
  • Strong coding skills in Python, R, SQL, and familiarity with data engineering practices for model integration.
