AML Specialist Position

We are seeking an experienced AML Specialist to join our team. As an AML Specialist, you will play a critical role in the detection and prevention of financial crimes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Monitoring: Conduct thorough reviews of transactions to identify potential suspicious activity.
  • Sanctions Screening: Screen individuals and entities against global sanction lists issued by OFAC, EU, UN, and other international agencies.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct complex research and analysis to confirm whether potential matches to global sanctions lists are actual matches according to laid down guidelines.
  • Documentation and Escalation: Fully document all alerts, including supporting data, analysis, as well as escalation or close recommendation rationale within the case management system in a timely manner and consistent with the firm's quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-5 years in KYC Sanctions Screening experience (overall exp not more than 7 years).
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Computer Science, or equivalent is preferred. Full-time master's degree/equivalent is an added bonus.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and logical reasoning skills, proficiency in MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint), strong documentation skills to clearly articulate alert disposition.
