Job Title:

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Implementation Engineer to join our team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to take on a challenging role in physical design implementation from RTL to GDSII or netlist to GDSII, with a strong focus on block-level physical signoff.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automation scripts using Perl, Tcl, Awk, and Python to enhance design productivity
  • Provide technical guidance and lead junior engineers, with the ability to manage small project teams
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, requiring excellent communication skills
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive design success
  • Lead efforts to improve design quality and reduce errors through process improvements and technology enhancements

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in physical design implementation and block-level physical signoff
  • Strong understanding of RTL to GDSII or netlist to GDSII flows
  • Proficiency in automation scripting languages (Perl, Tcl, Awk, Python)
  • Experience leading small project teams and providing technical guidance to junior engineers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience working with complex digital designs and mixed-signal designs
  • Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) tools and electronic design automation (EDA) software
