Job Title: Senior Backend Systems Specialist

Location: Remote

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable backend systems using FastAPI.

Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining complex workflow orchestration pipelines with Temporal or similar technologies. You will also design memory and context systems for knowledge retrieval and adaptive workflows.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will manage authentication, user integrations, and secure credential handling. You will own deployment, monitoring, and scaling of backend infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable backend systems using FastAPI
  • Build and maintain complex workflow orchestration pipelines with Temporal or similar technologies
  • Design memory and context systems for knowledge retrieval and adaptive workflows
  • Manage authentication, user integrations, and secure credential handling
  • Owning deployment, monitoring, and scaling of backend infrastructure
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong backend experience with Python/FastAPI. Proven ability to design workflow orchestration and agent systems is essential.

You should have experience with context management, prompt engineering, and AI-engineering (about 1-2 years of experience with AI and agents) and some level of understanding of agent frameworks.

Familiarity with multi-agent architectures and dynamic workflow generation (functional programming approaches) is also required.
