Backend Integration Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Backend Integration Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with a focus on integration and backend systems.

  • Design, build, and maintain integrations with various Property Management Systems (PMS) and third-party platforms.
  • Develop and optimize our integration pipeline, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
  • Understand the nuances of downstream systems and architect scalable integration solutions.
  • Engage with PMS partners to identify and implement new features and updates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
  • Continuously improve our backend infrastructure, automate tasks, and set best practices for integrations.
  • Monitor and track the daily status of integrations, proactively identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

This role requires 4+ years of experience in backend web development, proficiency in TypeScript, experience working with NestJS or similar backend frameworks, and a strong understanding of automated testing at every level.

Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming and its various paradigms, API development, message queues, pub-sub architectures in distributed systems, databases, and ORM frameworks is also required.
