This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Chef De Partie in a fine dining restaurant.
About the RoleAs a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation. You will work closely with senior chefs to ensure efficient workflow and time management.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain impeccable personal presentation and behaviour during service.
- Demonstrate effective time keeping, presentation and workflow skills.
- Hold complete knowledge of the menu section allocated, including cookery techniques and ingredients.
- Show full understanding of the brand's culinary philosophy and methods.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of COSHH, health & safety, allergens, temperature records, labelling of fridges and food including blast chilling.
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality dishes to assigned task standards/spec/batch cooking.
- Maintain mise en place of the section to the highest standards required at all times.
- Ensure high presentation, correct plating and cooking of food at all times, with guidance from senior chefs.
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and upkeep of equipment.
- Contribute to daily, weekly and monthly cleaning duties as instructed by senior chefs.
- Communicate effectively with Senior Chefs regarding section operation and any issues that arise.
- Support junior chefs and contribute to the development of the team.
