  • Job Title: Design Engineer

The ELV Design Engineer is responsible for designing and developing electrical systems, including life safety systems, security systems, building management systems, and other related systems.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering and 5-10 years of experience in designing similar systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing Bill of Quantities, Specifications, and Design Basis Reports
  • Engineering document preparation, including datasheets, system architecture, operation procedures, and scope of work
  • Capturing and filtering risks and opportunities through engineering review and initial stages (tender)
  • Preparing Security Concepts and Schematics drawings
  • Reviewing and Approving System Integrator Drawings/Documents
  • Preparation of detail drawings for Security Systems and Building Management Systems in coordination with other services like Architects, Structural, HVAC
  • Estimation of quantity for execution
  • Interaction with consultants for project-related workings
  • Responding to RFI raised by the execution team
  • Site support, coordination, and delivering design-related drawings
  • Planning and scheduling project assignments, including schedules of drawings, method statements, material submittals, installation-commissioning schedules
