Logistics Operations Coordinator

The Logistics Operations Coordinator is a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services within our organization. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively under pressure.

Job Description:
  • Coordinate with customers to provide them with regular updates regarding their shipments, including export/import details, train running/port arrival status, and buffer shifting updates.
  • Send reports as required by the sales team, detailing export-related information.
  • Arrange for PDA receipts and VDS letters from customers, and submit these documents to the finance department for record-keeping purposes.
  • Assist the sales team by sending emails related to terminal and rail tariffs to customers.
  • Secure KYC and GST details from new customers introduced by the sales team.
  • Send notices to trade partners as needed, and follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments.
  • Confirm balance details with customers to facilitate reconciliation of accounts and clearance of payments.
  • Ensure timely delivery of original delivery orders received from customers for import shipments.
  • Provide in-transit details to customers for their shipments.
  • Share arrival details with customers/shipping lines once units reach our terminal for fast clearance of cargo.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of logistics operations and procedures.
