Job Title: Operational Team Lead

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of associates to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage key projects and operational processes related to data extraction, analysis, and content creation.
  • Ensure team members are compliant with guidelines, policies, and research tools.
  • Responsible for day-to-day workflow management, performance review, talent development, and talent management processes.
  • Interact with internal and external clients as necessary and work on new projects and data enhancement initiatives.
  • Identify individual strengths to delegate work effectively amongst the team.
  • Ensure clear and seamless communication across levels and teams.
  • Stay updated on industry knowledge, trends, and reporting standards.

What We Are Looking For:

Functional and Business Knowledge:

  • Apply general knowledge of operations principles, theories, and work tools to complete assignments effectively.
  • Industry or sustainability-topic specific experience or expertise is highly desirable.
  • Thorough knowledge of business and data/content management objectives is essential.
  • Possess strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel and other IT tools.

Problem Solving:

  • Solve various problems within their operational setting.
  • Provide solutions based on best practices and existing precedents.
  • Coordinate and manage projects from start to finish.

People Development:

  • Manage the performance of team members and conduct regular reviews.
  • Identify training needs for team members and plan resource requirements.
  • Develop back-up and succession plans to ensure continuity.
  • Manage the aspirations of team members and foster an environment of continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile:

  • 1-3 years of team leading experience is preferred.
  • Work experience in ESG ratings or research, corporate sustainability, or sustainability investing is mandatory.
  • Business-oriented with attention to costs and efficiency.
  • Ability to work well within a global team context.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Interpersonal & Relationship Building skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills/ Result orientation.
  • Familiar with LEAN and Six Sigma concepts.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Business Administration is required.
