About the Role

As a seasoned financial expert, you will take on a pivotal leadership role overseeing the financial operations and planning functions for our diagnostics vertical. This strategic position involves leading cross-border finance teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing financial performance, and supporting business growth initiatives.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of managing international finance operations, with expertise in IFRS, IND-AS, and international accounting standards. Prior experience working in Africa is preferred but not mandatory.

You will be responsible for driving financial planning, forecasting, and analysis across all geographies. You will partner with business heads to evaluate profitability, cost structures, and investment decisions. Additionally, you will present financial insights and business reviews to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead financial planning, forecasting, and analysis across all geographies.
  • Management Reporting & Budgeting: Drive the budgeting process, including preparation of Annual Operating Plans (AOP), capital expenditure planning, and rolling forecasts.
  • Accounting & Financial Operations: Oversee end-to-end accounting for all subsidiaries, ensure timely closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts in compliance with local GAAPs, as may be applicable.
  • International Finance & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local tax laws, payroll, company secretarial filings, and other statutory requirements.

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary finance & account qualifications such as CA, with a minimum secondary qualification like B.Com.
  • Experience (10-15 years) in Finance & Accounts, with significant exposure to multinational operations in the diagnostics or healthcare sector preferred.
  • Prior experience working cross-culturally and cross-functionally with diverse colleagues.
  • Familiarity with tax structures and treaties for international subsidiaries.
  • Self-starter with an ability to stay independently motivated and deliver assigned tasks.
