The Senior Academic Director will lead the strategic, operational, and educational initiatives of a Centre for financial markets research and education. A visionary leader with experience in academia, research management, or financial services industry is required to build interdisciplinary collaborations and drive impactful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:- Formulate and execute the long-term vision and strategy of the Centre.- Develop programs and initiatives aligned with the Centre's mandate in financial markets research and education.">">
  • Educational Program Management:- Provide support for research projects, working papers, and publications in financial markets and related areas.- Support faculty-led research, student engagement, and visiting scholar initiatives.- Organize training programs, workshops, seminars, conferences, and certificate courses.">">
  • Industry Engagement:- Build partnerships with financial institutions, statutory bodies, regulatory institutions, industry associations, and other organizations.- Organize seminars, panel discussions, and talks/lectures by industry experts.">">
  • Operational Oversight:- Manage day-to-day administration of the Centre including reporting and resource planning.- Supervise support staff, interns, and research associates.">">
  • Communication and Outreach:- Oversee the Centre's visibility (online and offline), including publications, newsletters, and website updates.- Represent the Centre at conferences, academic forums, and industry meetings.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A Master's or Ph.D. degree in Finance, Economics, Management, or a related discipline is required along with at least 15 years of experience in relevant fields.
