Job Title: Healthcare Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our healthcare quality assurance initiatives across multiple hospitals. This pivotal position will ensure that hospital operations adhere to the highest standards of clinical quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.


">Key Responsibilities:
">
  1. Develop comprehensive policies and procedures for hospital operations in alignment with regulatory standards; conduct training sessions for project stakeholders.
  2. Monitor each hospital's progress toward achieving and sustaining accreditation; advise on corrective actions for non-conformities in audits.
  3. Conduct patient satisfaction surveys bi-annually using random sampling and established protocols as per project agreements.
  4. Oversee and coordinate quarterly site visits for quality checks across departments (OPD, IPD, diagnostics, emergency, surgery, and support services); supervise quality assurance activities of the monitoring team.
  5. Prepare and submit quarterly reports on KPI compliance, addressing performance gaps, and ensuring thorough documentation.
  6. Ensure strict adherence to protocols related to patient safety, infection control, biomedical waste management, and regulatory requirements.
  7. Engage in regular review of hospital policies/SOPs to ensure alignment with evolving best practices.
  8. Serve as the official representative for all quality communications with stakeholders, with delegated authority for approvals.
  9. Participate in periodic review meetings with project stakeholders, presenting audit findings and plans for quality improvement.
  10. Champion sustainability and safety initiatives.
  11. Coordinate and facilitate prompt resolution of quality, compliance, or dispute issues related to hospital operations.

">Essential Qualifications & Experience:
">
  • Master's Degree/PG Diploma in Hospital Management/Administration.
  • Certification as an Internal Counsellor for Regulatory Standards by a recognized accrediting body.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in successful accreditation of multispecialty/super-speciality hospitals.
  • Proven leadership in quality management at least three hospitals (minimum 100 beds each) in roles such as Accreditation Expert, Advisor, Consultant, or Manager within the past seven years.
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare accreditation systems, policy development, and quality benchmarking.
  • Strong communication, training, and report writing skills.
  • Proven track record in stakeholder engagement and managing multi-disciplinary hospital teams.

  • Prior experience implementing accreditation standards in similar contexts or other public healthcare projects.
  • Experience with hospital operations or government contracts is an added advantage.
